State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) announced that the Cuyahoga Falls City Council has accepted state funding for the Cuyahoga Falls Regional Fire Training Complex. Roemer was instrumental in securing $3 million in one-time project funding from the Strategic Community Investment Fund during the 135th General Assembly.

The new training complex will enable fire departments throughout Summit County and nearby areas to conduct essential emergency training. "This transformative project will serve not only residents of Cuyahoga Falls, but all surrounding communities," said Roemer. "Quality training sets our first responders up for success and increases public safety."

Roemer, who championed the funding, attended the City Council meeting with State Senator Kristina Roegner.
