City of Vandalia Division of Fire Responded to a Reported Dumpster Fire behind the Shopping Center on North Dixie Drive | City of Vandalia Division of Fire
Vandalia firefighters, responding to a reported dumpster fire behind the shopping center on North Dixie Drive discovered a fire inside the strip mall. Elevated to a second alarm, crews were able to confine the fire to one occupancy. Crews report minor smoke and water damage in adjacent buildings. Crews have Dixie Drive closed in both directions. Thanks to our mutual aid partners from Butler Twp., Huber Heights, Englewood, Clayton, Tipp City and Dayton Fire Departments. No one injured and the fire is under investigation.
