Prevent, Test, and Treat
Know your personal risks, and be prepared if COVID-19 enters your home. Learn how you can prevent, test, and treat COVID-19.
• Prevent by protecting yourself with vaccination, boosters, masking when appropriate, washing your hands frequently, and staying home if you’re sick.
• Test promptly if you’re going to be around someone who is at high risk for complications from COVID-19, you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, or you’re experiencing symptoms.
• Treat with life-saving medications. Visit a Test to Treat location where you can be tested and immediately start treatment, or talk to your doctor about prescription treatments for COVID-19. Treatment options include prescription at-home pills, or IV infusions or injections. Timing is critical, as most of these treatments must be given very quickly after symptoms begin to be effective.
