Summit County Public Health issued the following announcement on March 16.
Free COVID-19 rapid tests are available to Ohioans in select ZIP Codes in traditionally underserved areas through a partnership between Ohio and the Rockefeller Foundation. Go to accesscovidtests.org and enter your ZIP Code to determine eligibility and order free rapid tests to be delivered to your home.
“Ohio was one of the first states to ensure free rapid testing kits were widely available, distributing them to schools, colleges and universities, libraries, and local health departments,” said Ohio Department of Health Director Bruce Vanderhoff, MD, MBA. “This partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation will increase access to tests for those at high risk and help reduce spread of COVID-19 in our communities.”
