Akron Police Department issued the following announcement on February 18.
On Monday, February 21, 2022, Memorial Parkway will be CLOSED to westbound traffic at Hickory St. for a sewer improvement project. Detours will be placed and well-marked.
On Monday, March 14, 2022, Memorial Parkway at Hickory St. will be closed entirely as heavy equipment will be shifted into the eastbound lanes. The completion for this project is slated for Friday, April 22, 2022. #akronpdconnecting
