Sunday, Feb. 23: Walsh Jesuit High School standout Alejandro Covas’ college team loses to Mercer Bears

On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Walsh Jesuit High School standout Alejandro Covas’ current college team, the Kent State Golden Flashes, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their third matchup against the Bears this season.

The Golden Flashes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m. at Clark–LeClair Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
