State Representative Bill Roemer recently attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new CHC Administrative Building in Akron, Ohio. Roemer has been involved with the CHC One Campus Initiative for six years, contributing to its funding and marking this event as a significant milestone.

CHC, established in 1974, is an addiction treatment facility offering services aimed at treating and preventing substance use disorders. These services include treatment programs, recovery support, and prevention initiatives.

Roemer expressed his optimism about the facility's future impact: “I look forward to seeing how this facility continues to serve our communities and support those going through the recovery process.”

In fiscal year 2023, CHC provided services to over 5,400 patients and conducted more than 32,000 service sessions.
