Tax credit awarded to Summit County firm for economic development

State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) has announced that Risk International Services, LLC has been awarded tax credit funding aimed at expanding economic development and job creation in Summit County.

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority has approved a 1.515%, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for Risk International Services, LLC, based in Fairlawn. This funding is anticipated to create 45 full-time positions, retain 77 jobs, and generate over $4.4 million in new annual payroll.

“The expansion of Risk International Services is a great asset to our community,” said Roemer. “Economic development partnerships between state and local governments are the key to Ohio’s continued job growth.”

Risk International Services specializes in risk management, claims mitigation, loss prevention, claims recovery, and insurance archaeology services.
