During a recent House session, State Representative Bill Seitz (R-Cincinnati) was unanimously elected by his colleagues to serve as the House Majority Floor Leader. Ohio House Speaker Cliff Rosenberger (R-Clarksville) praised Seitz's dedication and ability to handle significant legislative initiatives.

"Rep. Seitz has been such a valuable member of our caucus since joining the House this year," Rosenberger said. "His ability and willingness to tackle major legislative initiatives is a testament to both his intellect and his commitment to public service. I know he will continue his rigorous work ethic and unwavering passion in his new role as Majority Floor Leader."

Seitz expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by Rosenberger and the entire House. "I am deeply honored by the confidence reposed in me by Speaker Rosenberger and the entire House as I seek to serve effectively as Majority Floor Leader," Seitz said. "I am truly indebted to Speaker Rosenberger for his eloquent words and the many courtesies that he has extended to me upon return to service in the Ohio House of Representatives."

In related news, Rep. Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) has been appointed to fill Rep. Seitz’s position as Caucus Policy Chair.

"I am excited to welcome Rep. Manning to our leadership team," Rosenberger said. "During his time in the House, he has brought forward creative ideas and a keen legal mind to important policy matters facing our state. As Policy Chair, he will continue to put his skills and talents to good use in helping our caucus with our policy priorities."

Manning also expressed gratitude for the opportunity. “I’d like to thank Speaker Rosenberger for the opportunity to serve in this role,” Manning said. “I am confident that my colleagues and I can continue serving the interest of all Ohioans by enacting common-sense legislation throughout the remainder of the 132nd General Assembly.”
